About Me

Welcome to LabScoop🙏

I’m Ghebreab G., a lecturer  and a PhD fellow specializing in Applied Microbiology. My academic journey began with a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, followed by an MSc in Diagnostic and Public Health Microbiology. Over the years, I’ve taught various microbiology and medical lab courses in both private and public institutions.

With extensive experience in diagnostic laboratories, I am passionate about deepening my understanding of medical laboratory sciences—especially microbiology—and making it more accessible and relevant. LabScoop is a platform where I document what I learn and share insights on a wide range of topics, including:

  • The role of microbes in health and disease
  • Food safety and public health microbiology
  • Antimicrobial resistance and its global impact
  • Clinical chemistry and hematology practices
  • Lab quality assurance and best practices

This blog is designed to connect students, professionals, and enthusiasts who share a curiosity for the fascinating intersection between scientific research and practical lab applications. Whether you're in the lab or the classroom, LabScoop is your resource for bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Feel free to reach out to me at labscope6@gmail.com for questions, collaborations, or discussions.

Join me on this journey into the dynamic world of medical laboratory sciences, and let’s explore its impact on both local and global health!
